Two For One, Thursday Fun

Good work on Karen today-more than anything that girl challenges you mentally! Congratulations to Jared for earning his spot on the board. Drew, saw some amazing improvement in depth and proper form since the first time he was squatting. Drew does a good amount of reading and research in addition to what he learns in class. It pays to put a little time in like that-the puzzle pieces fall into place and it’s easier to see the big picture. In his research, Drew, picked up a good cue to remember to keep a tight core-“before each squat tighten the mid-line as if you are preparing to take a punch.” Drew applied that cue to himself and saw great results. 1. I enjoyed doing burpies for the first time *ever* yesterday.
The tip on coming back up into squat, after the pushup, with knees wide was very helpful.
Maybe it’s because it’s easier to breath that way, they were much easier.

  2. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he sits in a boat and drinks beer for a liftime. That’s why I’m doing Crossfit.

  3. Beer and fish combine well as a decently balanced Zone meal. Maybey some tartar sauce. Got a pull-up bar on that boat? If so group trip to Hawaii to see Paul!
