  1. I had to share this story…

A member of my family spent the weekend and although they have heard us talk about crossfit before they were amazed at what we weren’t eating during the challenge. Every time they brought up a food we would give the reason why we chose not to eat that…no cream and sugar in our coffee, no wheat, NO POTATO!!!??? We were out to dinner at a Steakhouse and my relative was enjoying the delicious and beautiful bread that was on the table while Jane and i enjoyed our waters. Jane then ordered a shot of Patron, my family member looked puzzled then asked in all seriousness,
“You can have Tequila? That must be cause it has a worm in the bottle and it counts as a protein?”

Paleo may be hard to understand but i am all for classifying tequila a protein.

Chalk up another conversation i never thought i’d have to the paleo challenge.

  2. Greg, I just want to say I cannot be held accountable for what I say in the middle of a workout, I was in a state of oxygen deprivation! That being said, it’s still pretty good advice:)

  3. So funny Drew…

CrossFit Mama… I’m glad the scale is moving.

Littles… I just read that link. I like how he talks about how outside factors such as stress and lack of sleep can stop weight loss. Mark and I have found that to be very true over the last couple of years.
