CrossFit Cape Cod

Nutrition Challenge

We are using a new format for this challenge.
*You will be part of a small team/support group, led by a C3 Coach.
*There won’t be any surprises with the nutrition.
*We will hold some food swaps and meal planning groups for anyone who is interested. (Dates to be announced.)
*The approach to this challenge is not meant to be a contest for individuals to rise above the group. Rather, it is designed to have the group support the individuals. Much like the Workout Of The Day, at CrossFit Cape Cod, no one is hailed the winner, instead the community becomes stronger as a whole. As individuals progress, so does the entire affiliate, because after all no one is out only for themselves. (See the QOD “Check your ego at the door.“)

“Why The Teams/Groups”
The groups are designed to help individuals to form a success plan, and receive more support individually. We are encouraging all who participate to meet with their assigned Coach to discuss personal goals and develop a general plan, and have any questions answered. We are going to do our best to put people on the team of the Coach you see most.
We will be measuring the progress of the entire community, as well as celebrating/highlighting individual achievements. I know there are more details you’ll need and they will be in follow up posts, but ask any and all question, or give input FREELY here in the comments:)
Let’s make this the most fun and successful challenge yet!

Awesome Erin! I really like #5…I spent today planning and putting some meals together in advance…if there’s nothing available and I’m hungry I’ll just grab what’s convenient which is usually a bad choice.

That is a great board! The information is perfect for anyone new to the nutrition challenge. I also like the new format of the challenge. I have found that nutrition really compliments my crossfit workouts. Question: does this new format mean that I have to refrain from using words like “suckah” when I talk to Kelly Cook?

  9. Kelly Cook Reply

Haha Jen! Keep it coming. You just inspire me even more with your smack talk!!
