I wish I could have been at the party on Saturday night. From what I heard a great time was had by all!
I would like to say thank you to those that voted for me. I can think of a community of C3 members who deserved that award more than I did. Quite honestly its all of you that inspire me to show up everyday and try my hardest.
For those who know me I am usually a man of a few words, but I would like to share my C3 story.
I remember showing up to do my baseline in August and watching you guys from my car doing pull ups and wall balls. When I saw how hard it looked I started my car back up and debated if I should leave or not. At the time it seemed easier for me to give up than to try.
Luckily for me it was a life changing decision to get out of the car and go inside. I then had the hardest 8:43 workout of my life, doing pull ups with one black band for the first few and then needing two black bands to finish.
For the next few weeks I was going to C3 3 or 4 times a week and in the middle of each workout I would ask myself what I had gotten myself into, I was way out of my comfort zone during these workouts. And without fail after every workout I remember Mark asking me if I would be coming the next day.
Then after about a month C3 had me hook line and sinker. The community and support is like nothing you can find anywhere.
Now in the middle of my workouts I cant help but wish I found this place right when i moved to the cape. Its amazing to walk into a building full of strangers, have them become friends, and have those friends turn into family.
Little did i know when i was sitting in my car that first day i was at a crossroads in my life. Driving away leading to the same old me being extremely unhealthy and making excuses why. But for once in my life i took a chance and it completely changed my life.
To my fellow C3ers you have all inspired me to be a better person and push as hard as i can in WODs and in life.
Mark and Sarah, i have nothing but the most respect for you two. Words wouldn’t do justice on the impact you have had on my life.

Thank you all, and as i guzzle my Carlson’s Fish Oil I will be thinking of all of you!!

Aw Ryan, you just made me cry! I so remember that day as well…and the incredible amount of courage it takes to get out of that car! Not to mention the incredible amount of strength it takes to make the decision to change your life…and stick to it! You’re a huge inspiration to me Ryan!!! I’m so proud of you and of all our peeps who push to better themselves day after day. I’m so proud to be a part of such an amazing community of people 🙂

And special thanks to Mark and Sarah for all the hard work it took to put this together…it was such a blast! I’m with Erin, I could potentially be available every Sat night for the next few months, just sayin’!

What an inspiring story Ryan, thanks for that!
I haven’t seen you in months as I never go to the early class, but I’ve consistently heard about how hard you work and how much stronger you are as a result. Keep up the great work!
